Fit Guide
1. Determine the Best Vision Sphere (BVS)
  • Perform a new subjective refraction° then remove cylindrical power and determine best distance VA with the least minus spherical refraction°°.
2. Determine the sensory dominant eye
  • +1.00 blur test recommended rather than sighting methods
3. Determine the lowest ADD based upon the patient's needs
  • With the distance BVS in place, determine the lowest functional reading ADD
Top Tip: Over the spherical distance refraction, start with 0.50D less than the spectacle ADD and if necessay, increase in 0.25D steps until required near vision is achieved.

If your patient still has specific near or distance need, refer to the enhancement tables.
